Attention current junior students who are outstandingly talented in the areas of visual arts, music, dance or theater.  Students must display leadership and responsibility.

Our school can nominate one student for the University of Missouri-St. Louis Dean's Award for Creative Achievement in the Arts.  The nominated student will receive 2 tickets to a performance of their choice at the Touhill Performing Arts Center and a $1,000 Creative Achievement Scholarship for the University of MO-St. Louis.

Contact Mrs. Rose as soon as possible if you are interested in being nominated.

Athletic Updates

Here are a few updates for Spring sports:

The JV/V baseball game scheduled for 3/31/11 at Bentonville has been canceled,  no make-up date has been set yet.

The Varsity Track  will have a meet on April 1st in Reed Springs.  (Make- up meet from 3/29/11)

JV baseball will play College Heights  at Webb City on April 5th at 4:30 PM.

Daugherty's study hall

REMINDER:  Today is Wednesday and Mrs. Daugherty's Study Hall will meet in Ms. Rouse's room.

There will be an FCA Leadership meeting next Tuesday morning at 7:15 in Mrs. Smith's room.

Cheer tryout meeting change

The Webb City Parks and Recreation needs volunteers to help at the
Easter Egg Hunt

Sat. April 16th
Volunteers report to the King Jack Soccer Field.
There will be a tent.

The hunt is from 1:00 - 3:00 but volunteers can help to set up anytime
after 9:00.

In the event of bad weather, the Hunt will be moved to Sat. April 23rd.

redette try-outs

Redette Try-outs will be next week, March 14-17 from 3:15-5:00 in the
Girls Gym. You must pick up a try-out packet and sign-up in room 202

LAST CHANCE Seniors

Seniors will be meeting in Cardinal Theater for the music video shoot on Wednesday when school is dismissed at 1:40. We will first be showing the video that we did shoot for those who missed it and briefly discussing how we can change it. All Seniors need to be in attendance! We will be finished by 2:40 and may or may not use Thursday for a back-up day. Bring your own costumes and props!

This will be the absolute last shoot for the Senior music video, don't miss your chance!!

If you signed up to work at Harry S Truman School Carnival remember it is on Thursday, March 17 (5-8:00)

You should sign in at the Truman office and be sure to sign out when you leave.    This proves that you worked at this event!!! Mr. Cooper will send me proof of your work for your honor diploma!!!

IT IS VERY RUDE TO NOT SHOW UP!!!!

If you are not going to work contact Dr. Cooper at 673-6085 or Mrs. Rose.

Arrive at 5:00 and you will work until 8:00 in order to earn 3 hours.
