Yesterday was the judging and beginning of the COC Art SHow in Nixa. It will be up at the Faught Administrative Building until next Thursday.

FREE Physicals...May 4th
"Free Physical" night will be Wednesday, May 4th at WCHS. Physical Forms may be picked up at the High School, Jr High or Middle School and should be completed before they can receive an exam.
Times are as follows: Current 6th, 7th and 8th graders will begin at 5:30, with 9th, 10th and 11th grades to follow (7:00pm)

Thespians
There will be a meeting for all students involved in the plays this year on Tuesday at 2:45 in Barton Theatre. We will be nominating and voting on Thespian officers for next year. Seniors please bring your "master list" to Mr. Eden right away.
FCA Night of Champions
FCA Night of Champions is this Friday from 7-11pm at the high school. All high school students are invited. Cost is $5 and receive a t-shirt. We are privileged to have TW Norman from the Extreme Team perform his acts of strength along with an awesome testimony. We will also have a dodgeball tournament along with other games and food. Come for a great night of fun and invite your friends.

Save A Life Tour
Our school will have the privilege of presenting the National Save A
Life Tour assembly this Thursday from 1:40-2:40. We will be using the
same bell schedule as enrollment. All students, including juniors and
seniors will be attending the assembly. Please make plans
accordingly. In addition, all seniors will have the opportunity to
experience a driving simulator to simulate what happens from
distracted driving--such as texting.

We are asking students and staff to dress in "Textless
Attire" (wordless shirts/pants) tomorrow to symbolize "Don't text and
drive."
On Thursday, we are asking that you wear attire to represent driving
safety--such as safety colors--bright yellow, orange, etc. or anything
else that might represent driving safety.
Blood Drive
Would you like to save three lives? Well, you can provide life-saving
blood to three people with just one donation. You must be at least 16

Attention to rising junior, senior or just graduated seniors students who are interested in careers in History, Politics, or Government - The
Constitutional Academy is an intensive study of the Constitution, the Founding Era, and the theory of the Founding Fathers. Students will spend 5 weeks reading primary source documents and then spend 1 week in Washington, D.C. with our scholars. During their time in D.C. they will visit Mount Vernon, Monticello and the Archives. Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2. The cost is $3,000.00
The application deadline is May 15, 2011 but if you are interested you must contact Mrs. Terry Rose as soon as possible.
