ACT summer school

Re: final weekly announcements

If you have not signed up for the two week ACT summer school class, please go to Mr. Hayes or Mrs. Botts' room and sign up.  If you are planning on taking the ACT test the following Saturday, June 11th, this could be a good opportunity to prep for the test.

Attention Honor Diploma students who will be juniors or seniors next year.

Due to the tremendous need as a result of the recent tornado, volunteers may turn in tornado relief work to fulfill ALL of the required 6 community service hours.   Previous rules regarding church volunteer work will be expanded to include any tornado work done through  church therefore church volunteer work could earn all 6 hours.

As you know many volunteers were turned away at first and safety continues to be an issue.   We strongly recommend if you choose to volunteer do so through organized groups.  Call organizations first to see if they need volunteers and follow the guidelines the organizations have in place.

Be sure to pick up a yellow or blue form in Mrs. Rose's office.  Fill it out and be sure to get it signed at the time of your service.
