NHS

> National Honor Society meeting Tuesday, August 30th at 7:15 in LMC
Attention Honor Diploma students who are juniors or seniors.

Due to the tremendous need as a result of the tornado, volunteers may turn in tornado relief work to fulfill ALL of the required 6 community service hours.   Previous rules regarding church volunteer work will be expanded to include any tornado work done through church therefore church volunteer work could earn all 6 hours.

As you know many volunteers were turned away at first and safety continues to be an issue.   We strongly recommend if you choose to volunteer do so through organized groups.  Call organizations first to see if they need volunteers and follow the guidelines the organizations have in place.

Be sure to pick up a yellow or blue form in Mrs. Rose's office.  Fill it out and be sure to get it signed at the time of your service.
