Attention students wanting to earn tutoring hours this summer.

Hours can be earned at Webster, Middle School and Madge T James summer schools.

The principals of those summer schools are Tammy Thomas, Dr, Dustin Storm and Amanda Green.  They prefer to talk to volunteers prior to the first day of summer school.   You can pick up information at Mrs. Rose's office or the counselors' office.

If you do not talk to them prior to summer school and later decide you want to volunteer you can still go to the schools and visit with the principals about volunteering.

YOU NEED TO SIGN IN AND OUT AT THE SCHOOL'S OFFICE EACH TIME YOU VOLUNTEER.  YOU MUST KEEP YOUR OWN LOG FOR YOUR VOLUNTEER TIME.  LOGS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE COUNSELORS OFFICE AND IN MRS. ROSE'S OFFICE.  DO NOT SET UP TUTORING ON YOUR OWN WITH AN INDIVIDUAL TEACHER.  THE PRINCIPAL WILL ASSIGN YOUR TUTORING ROOM.

There are NO volunteer opportunities at the junior high or high school summer schools.
